Suspended, restricted or removed: identify the problem

A profile disappearing from Maps can stop calls before an owner understands what happened. We begin with the account's status, the profile link and Google's messages. A profile-level suspension, owner-account restriction and verification request require different next steps.

We record when the issue appeared, what changed beforehand and whether another account can still manage the business. That history helps us avoid treating every loss of visibility as the same kind of suspension.

Why home service profiles can be suspended

Our audit checks whether the listed business matches the operation the owner can document. We review name, address, business type, service area, categories, website and account access together. We also look for conflicting or duplicate information.

The review is about the underlying facts, not cosmetic changes made to improve an appeal. If the business moved, changed ownership or is using an old trading name, we establish the current identity before preparing evidence.

Read the rejection history before another appeal

We collect earlier notices, appeal decisions and any restriction or rejection history available in the account. The question is not just what Google declined, but what information and evidence it had when it made that decision.

We build a short timeline of submissions and changes. This gives the next request a clear purpose and helps distinguish a new issue from a previous correction that was incomplete.

When the owner's Google account is restricted

A restriction on the managing account can affect the profile. Google directs owners to address account restrictions before appealing affected Business Profiles. We check this dependency before preparing a profile-only response.

We review who owns and manages the profile and which account received the notice. Adding another login without diagnosing the restriction is not a recovery plan; the appeal should address the actual status Google has applied.

What to avoid while a review is pending

Google advises against duplicate appeals or creating a new profile for the same business while an appeal is under review. We also keep a record of agreed corrections so business information is not repeatedly changed without a clear reason.

Our approach is to resolve the information gaps, prepare evidence and follow the applicable review path. If Google requests more information, the response should address that request rather than restart the entire process.

Our reinstatement process: audit, fixes, documents and appeal

First we review the account history and business representation. Then we agree on factual corrections, identify the evidence required and organize it around the business's real name and location. The owner confirms those facts before submission.

Supporting documents can include registration, licenses or utility records with matching business information. Evidence should be ready before opening an appeal workflow with a submission deadline. We help prepare the request and track the response; Google controls the decision.

Timeline and checks after reinstatement

We separate time needed for corrections from time spent in Google's review. A previous rejection or an account-level restriction can make recovery more involved. We give you a work plan and status updates without promising a reinstatement date.

After approval, we check the profile's visibility, contact information, links and access. We review any remaining issue with the owner and establish a stable change process. Recovery is complete only when the business can understand the status and manage the profile again.

Google Ads or LSA suspended at the same time

A Business Profile issue and an advertising-account issue should be reviewed separately, even when they affect the same business. We compare the notices, business identity and required evidence, then define the recovery work for each account.

Our appliance repair case shows one client's coordinated recovery and subsequent lead performance. Its three-day recovery is a historical result, not the timeline for a new engagement. Advertising relaunch and ongoing lead management are scoped separately from reinstatement.

Pricing for suspension recovery

We quote after reviewing the suspension history and the work required. A profile-level appeal with a clear evidence gap differs from repeated rejections, a restricted owner account or several affected locations.

Your scope identifies the corrections, documents, submission support and follow-up included. If the audit reveals a separate Google Ads or LSA issue, we explain that additional scope before beginning it.

Common questions

How long does reinstatement take?

The timeline depends on the issue, evidence preparation, previous decisions and Google's review. We provide a project plan after diagnosis; client examples are not promised turnaround times.

Will I lose my reviews?

We cannot promise that every review will return or remain visible. We check the existing profile after reinstatement and review any separate review-visibility issue with you.

Should I create a new profile instead?

Do not create a replacement simply to bypass a pending appeal. We review the existing profile and recovery path first. A new listing can leave the original restriction unresolved.

Why was my profile suspended right after verification?

Verification and policy compliance are separate checks. We review Google's notice, business information and the changes made during verification to identify the issue.

How do I stop it from happening again?

Keep business details accurate, maintain appropriate account access and document significant changes. We help identify the original issue and establish a review process, but cannot guarantee that Google will never review the profile again.
